Ice or “No Ice” Fishing Festival

Porter County Conservation Club

6:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Saturday February 18, 2012

If there is no ice or unsafe ice we are going to have a “no ice” fishing festival.

We will try to melt any remaining ice off one of our ponds to make fishable with soft water gear.

FOOD - BREAKFAST  - BON FIRE

                                                                               

4^th annual ice fishing contest

Signup starts at 5:30 AM in the club house

 

$10 per Adult and $5 per child under 12

One FREE Hotdog & Pop with Entry Fee

 

CASH prizes will be awarded for largest Bass, Crappie, Bluegill, Redear, Catfish and Perch

Porter County Conservation Club was established on January 1^st, 1934. It is made up of 15+ acres and Includes two buildings, four ponds and one established wetland area. There are also two existing nature trails. We maintain the buildings for club functions and for teaching environmental and conservation issues to our members and to the public. We support the ponds and wetland for fishing, raising fish, and for the nesting of waterfowl and other birds. P.C.C.C is a privately owned, not for profit organization.
